Hopkins Family Celebration Day

This is the real deal.....who needs fancy back drop settings when you have a scene this beautiful?  Today, I had the pleasure of photographing the adoption ceremony of Kady Hopkins. Shane and Miki are great friends of Jayson and I and we have been praying for this day for a while. I took so many pictures but I want to start out with a letter that Miki wrote to Cody and Kady....it is too awesome not to share!

 

Shane and Miki were blessed with so many friends and family at the ceremony. The judge said he wasn't sure he had ever seen so many attend an adoption ceremony! I can't blog them all but here are a few that I hope show some of this Family Celebration Day!!

The Judge explains their commitment and asks Shane and Miki to proclaim it to this little girl...

 

To which they obviously respond to with "YES!"

  

Miki gets emotional reading her letter aloud and thanking all of her family and friends for support on the journey... 

I know that Shane and Miki have left this building numerous times over the months trying to get to this day...

 

Here are a couple more family pictures I snapped real quick before they left to get some breakfast....what a beautiful family!

Bybee Family

What a fun session! This family is so kind and the kids were fun and I think I now have some new little buddies. Jill is a friend of my Aunt Judy and I am glad I finally got to meet her and her family. Here are a few of my favorites from the session.

Happy Anniversary Jayson!

Since I didn't get you a card I wanted to quickly post this to you before the boys get home. I am so grateful for the 8 years we have spent together and wouldn't trade a minute of it. You are the best father, husband any gal could ask for and I love you and our boys more every day. I wanted to attach this picture taken of us in Picadilly Circus in London a couple of years ago. We may not be able to spend every day touring the world but I am happy with you where ever life takes us!

Coggins Family

Miller Family

Yesterday I had alot of fun taking pictures of the Miller family. I have known this family for years. They are all wonderful and their kids are beautiful. Chad and Lori, here are a few of my favorites...

Palmer Family

I had the pleasure to photograph the Palmer family this afternoon. What a fantastic family. Mark & Teresa have two beautiful boys, Lane and Jake. Here a few of my favorites from the session before I head off to bed.

ALL ABOARD!

This was one of my most fun sessions yet! My friend Sherry, her sister Dionne and family climbed on board the Christmas Express downtown hosted by the Three Rivers Rambler.  Ben and Bradley loved every minute of this magical experience. My little boys are wild about choo choo's too so we have tickets for next weekend. I am tickled that Sherry & Dionne asked me to take pictures of this event....here are a few of my favorites before I go to bed tonight....
